Protecting your sensitive data protects your business.  It keeps your company out of the headlines and your brand safe.  It helps your company comply with the myriad of regulations. It safeguards your employees and customers.  

All businesses have data.  Some of that data is highly sensitive; customer and employee information is but one example.  Unfortunately, but realistically, data is under attack from the moment it is collected until it is ultimately discarded.  Wherever sensitive data is to be found, it needs to be safeguarded.

An enterprise data security solution must protect data at rest as well as the web applications which are often the conduit to sensitive data.  It must cover the databases and operating systems found in the modern enterprise.  The ability to report on security events must be an integral part of the solution.  And, perhaps most importantly, data security needs to be managed – security policy needs to be centrally defined and then enforced wherever sensitive data is found.
