STAMFORD, CT – May 19, 2005 – Protegrity Corporation, the leading Data Security Management company, announced today that it had expanded the Protegrity Alliance Network to the Asia-Pacific Rim with the signing of reseller agreements with Solulink, a system design company headquartered in Seoul, Korea, and Tainet, a networking specialist headquartered in Taipai, Taiwan.  Solulink and Tainet will offer Protegrity’s database security solutions to their clients as complements to their own product and service offerings.  Both companies have worked with Protegrity to fully train personnel to provide local implementation and support for Protegrity’s Secure.Data Suite.

“Our customers are driven by increasing legal and banking requirements for data security,” said Wilson Fan, manager of Tainet’s information security business unit.  “Since many of our customers operate globally, they must ensure that they meet the most stringent security requirements.”  Tainet has already signed its first customer, Foxconn, a world-leading manufacturer of computer connectors and cable assemblies based in Taiwan.

“Protegrity’s support of heterogeneous IT environments and its centralized data security management is an important advantage for our customers,” said Heesoo Kim, president of Solulink.  “We help our clients find the most efficient and powerful IT solutions available for their needs.  Protegrity offers bullet-proof data security without impacting application performance or storage requirements.
