Customization via Configuration, Not Coding
Built upon technology backed by scores of granted or pending industry patents, the Protegrity Cloud Gateway was developed using a “Configuration-over-Programming” (CoP) paradigm, allowing security administrators to “own” the cloud gateway security configuration without depending on internal IT staff or the gateway vendor for custom coding. Being that there is no link to a particular version of the cloud application, the need for in-depth revisions to the gateway every time the cloud service is updated is eliminated. This development approach also allows clients to use new SaaS features right away as they are rolled out while maintaining the same level of data security.
Continuous Discovery and Monitoring
Fully embracing Protegrity’s belief that the only way to secure sensitive data is to protect the data itself, Protegrity Cloud Gateway offers a tool that facilitates identification of sensitive data elements being generated by users on the network.
